channel islands competition regulatory authority

The Air and Sea Ports (Incorporation) (Jersey) Law 2015 provides that any person carrying out port operations in Jersey must have a licence issued by the JCRA.

The overarching purpose of Ports of Jersey Limited is to provide safe, secure and efficient port operations. In its new role as the economic regulatory authority, CICRA aims to protect and further the interests of users of port operations, where appropriate by promoting competition.
